Why Regenerated Minds?

I was once talking with one of my clients about the grief they were experiencing. They had the expectation that they “should just be over it by now.” During the time it was autumn and the leaves had begun to change and fall. As they were looking out the window I pointed out that this was the season of life they were in. At some point it will begin to change.

In our personal lives when change or crisis happens it can feel like you’re in the eye of a storm. In the natural world after a disaster it always grows back, even if it isn’t the same as before. The ecosystem is able to rebuild itself, without judgement. It takes how long it takes.

The idea for Regenerated Minds also comes from our own anatomy.  When we get injured, say a cut, our cells go to that site and regenerate. While there could be a scar, you are able to heal. Our brain and body are all connected, sometimes it’s easy to forget when we spend so much time in our heads. Our brain is a powerful thing, and has neuroplasticity, meaning that it can form new pathways and connections. Which is why you can learn new things or stop habits that no longer serve you. While this takes work and time it is possible. I hope that this gives you hope and courage to try.

Finally, the idea of regeneration can be spiritual. That there can be a change in thinking, perspective, or outlook. You could begin to have a deeper understanding/relationship with yourself and/or a higher power of your understanding.

Are you ready for change?  If you are, I'd love to hear from you.
